EDINBURGH CHEER AND DANCE ACADEMY

Welcome to the home of Edinburgh Cheer and Dance Academy (ECDA). ECDA is dedicated to offering top level cheerleading and dance training across Edinburgh and the Lothian’s and we are now taking enrolments for 2012 – including weekly classes, holiday camp, workshops and competitive classes for all ages and abilities - EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Cheerleading is a great activity for all ages, Edinburgh Cheer and Dance Academy currently offers the chance to become part of the fastest growing sport in the UK, offering classes for children aged from 5 years, up to adults. ECDA specialises in cheerleading training for young people, bringing together the disciplines of dance, gymnastics, stunts, flexibility and cheer. At ECDA, cheerleaders learn stunting (lifts and throwing cheerleaders in the air), tumbling (gymnastics) and dance, in a fun environment as part of a strong team. All our cheerleaders are given the opportunity to perform at local and national games, events and competitions.

We take pride in our ability to provide outstanding training with our professional coaching, available to everyone in a fun and friendly enviroment with experienced, qualified and disclosure checked coaches. Our passion is to make cheerleading more accessible to children and young people. Founder and Head Coach, Gemma Duncan is committed in promoting cheerleading in schools and in creating a positive atmosphere fostering athleticism and teamwork for everyone who wants to be part of ECDA Cheerleading.
